I had a wonderful experience when I decided to move to North Carolina from Massachusetts in the summer of 2005. My realtor was Tracy Dougherty whom I have known for many years. She knew I was looking for a home and knew what I was looking for by asking me several basic questions i.e.: what size, how many bedrooms, bathrooms and of course how much would you like to spend.

I received a call at work from Tracy letting me know that she was going to look at a home this afternoon and would take pictures if she liked it. She did take many pictures and e-mailed them to me in such a way that it was like a virtual tour for me. She called me that evening and we discussed each shot. I was sold. The house was in excellent condition and I fell in love with the size of the master bedroom/bathroom.

Tracy was excellent to work with and was very helpful, knowledgeable and supportive from start to finish.

Tracy Dougherty was a very friendly professional when trying to find my husband and me a home to live in. It took us a while to find the right home because of the speed in which homes in the Jacksonville are sold, but we did find one. Tracy helped me in particular because I my husband was deployed at the time and neither my husband nor I had ever bought a home. Tracy helped me with all the aspects of buying a home. She is a very knowledgeable real estate agent and she is a lot of fun to be around as well. We plan on hiring Tracy again in the future when we go to sell and or buy a new home.

My husband and I were buying a house in NC while living in NV. I thought the time difference was going to make the process of looking for a house difficult but that wasn't the case at all. We had picked out 6 or 8 houses to see when we came to NC. To be honest, I hated every single one we saw. We talked with Tracy about the things we did and didn't like as we moved thru the houses. There were some I didn't even want to get out of the car to look at. She took in everything we had to say and when we got back to the office asked us to look at a couple in another area that she thought we'd like a lot more than what we'd requested to see. Boy was she right. The first house we went to I liked a lot. Tracy told us if this was more in line with what we liked that she had a house for us to see. That was THE house. We closed a couple months later via a power-of-attorney with no issues. She met us at the house with the keys when we got in town. I couldn't have asked for anything more, especially for a couple of first time home owners.

Now that it is time for us to move on, we didn't give it a second thought. We called Tracy to list our house. We have a large dog so the house had to be listed by appointment only. Not a problem, Tracy assured us. We were nervous, now first time home sellers. Again, Tracy was understanding, patient and always professional. She helped us come up with a selling price and what we needed to do to have our house be ready to be on the market. We are happy to say we have a contract on our house and await the closing.

We have recommended Tracy to several folks, friends as well as folks we just met. I will continue to do so without hesitation.
